Why should you switch to LED lighting?

Energy saving

The best-known aspect of LED lighting is energy saving. Exactly how much you save depends on the energy source that you replace with LED lighting. On average you save 50% on energy consumption and costs when you switch to LED lighting. With certain products, such as high-bays, you can even save 60% to 70% energy

Nature-friendly

When your halogen or incandescent lamp breaks down, it is often the question of what you should do with it. With waste? Or back in the drawer? The substances in these lighting forms can be dangerous for people and nature, so make sure that the lamp breaks. Using an LED lamp makes this process much easier. When the long lifespan of qualitative LED lamps is over, they can be recycled. They are safe and easy to recycle. This makes it a nature-friendly replacement for your conventional lighting.

Maintenance-free lamps

LED products do not waste light. In many LED lighting, the light source is better focused than with conventional lighting. Think of fluorescent tubes, they shine slightly 360º. So they also shine to the ceiling, where you don't need this at all. LED tubes only shine light downwards, often with a degree beam of 160º. So you don't waste light or energy in a direction where you don't use it. The LED lighting also has no loss of light intensity, while conventional lighting loses light intensity over its lifetime. The long lifespan, the smarter direction of light and non-decreasing brightness ensure that you have to replace these lamps less often. This saves you a lot of maintenance time and costs. The LED lighting also makes less use of individual parts, which therefore also need to be replaced less often.

Alternatives for all light sources

Thanks to the retrofit design of LED lamps, almost all conventional light sources can now be easily replaced with LED lighting. You don't have to adjust anything to the fixture. Further developments in LED lighting only make this easier. LED lighting has a lot of other benefits. For example, it does not emit heat, works in both hot and cold environments, is available in various styles, shapes and in a wide variety of colors, does not flicker LED lighting and is much better for the environment.
